Collins was poised under pressure at both handling the ball and seeing the floor, and when you factor in that she was playing up see evaluation here, what she was doing was even more impressive and it speaks volumes about her upside

Collins is long and lengthy, and showed a good feel for finding open space and making herself available in the half-court. She is a good interior passer, consistently keeping her head up and recognizing opportunities to deliver the ball to teammates inside. As an eighth grader playing up at the event, she appeared to gain confidence and settle in as the day progressed. She also showed a nice mid-range game and ran the court well, using her length and mobility to stay involved on both ends.

Collins was another player who gave me a great first look, but I sort of expected what was coming after watching her observe her older sister continue to elevate her game. A brief conversation told me she already “gets it” and I “got it” off the top during the 3 on 3 as she applied ” on-the-ball” heat and scored effortlessly off the dribble. That also translated over to the 5-on-5, but being a long and athletic guard who also saw the floor in the set as well as in transition is setting the stage

Originally, I planned to recognize Annistan in the honorable mention article, but I moved her to this feature for one vital reason: unselfish players who prioritize the extra pass are far too often overlooked. Annistan is the heartbeat of her team, consistently delivering high-level assists that translate directly into points. What stands out most is her humility and poise on offense. Additionally, her tight ball-handling allows her to remain patient under pressure until an opportunity opens up for a teammate. She is a rock-solid point guard, and if she continues to put in the work outside of practice, she is going to surpass many of her peers at the position.
