That level of effort and intensity immediately had me locked into her performance. The Closed Gym guard impressed me with the way she made reads off the dribble and attacked the lane under control. Baker consistently got downhill and finished strong inside, while also showing the ability to create opportunities for others. She was a true difference-maker whenever the ball was in her hands, bringing energy and production on the offensive end. A smart and composed floor general, Gouge consistently put herself and her teammates in positions to succeed. She never looked rushed with the basketball in her hands and did an excellent job of forcing the defense to play at her pace. What stood out most was her decision-making and ability to control the flow of the game as a ball handler.
