Gouge showed why she is one of the more poised guards to watch this summer. A smart and composed floor general, Gouge consistently put herself and her teammates in positions to succeed. She never looked rushed with the basketball in her hands and did an excellent job of forcing the defense to play at her pace. What stood out most was her decision-making and ability to control the flow of the game as a ball handler. In 24:UP ‘s second game, Gouge also proved she could be a major scoring threat from the outside, knocking down shots with confidence and scoring with ease throughout stretches of play.
