Within the next week or so, I'll have a few articles that are solely based on the senior class, offering advice and giving a sort of testimonial to their recruiting process to give the up-and-coming prospects a perspective from kids who have been through it. If players and families find some of the statements helpful, which I think you will, we can expand that idea. We can help potentially calm some nerves and help younger players understand the ups and downs of the recruitment process. However, before we get to that, we will look at some players to take notes on before grassroots basketball picks up later in June and in July.

The Milwaukee Academy of Science wing is an athletic kid who plays hard on both ends of the floor. In her first season with the Lady Novas, Jones played a role, generating extra possessions and using her effort to make an impact. Her ability to help her team win without needing the ball each time down the floor impressed me.

I was as impressed by Williams as I've ever been in her [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] group's first 3SSB stop in Bryan, Texas. I thought she looked the part athletically and was comfortable defending some elite talent in her team's first four games at the Adidas live period. She has the athletic tools and has steadily improved her skillset. She has become a more consistent offensive threat in her first three high school seasons.

I highlighted Jackson just before the May live period, and those points all stand. However, I want to talk about how consistently she does what she does best. No matter the score, game, or profile of the opponent, Jackson is the same player as she is when there are a few dozen people in the stands. She may not be a 20-point scorer every night, but the more people watch what she does, the more they'll appreciate what she brings to the floor.

I feel that people will enjoy watching Vogler play if they ever get a chance. The Sun Prairie native is an excellent scorer and is one of the more talented players in her class at putting the ball in the basket. However, I also think her length and athletic tools will help her make an impact at the next level defensively. The tools are there, and if she gets into a college program, they can help her take her game on that end to a level some may not expect.
