June is upon us, which means it's time for the quarterly Summer rankings update. Now that 2026 is headed out, I will begin my focus on the Class of 2027. This past Thursday, the updated rankings and watch list appeared online, so in the meantime, I wanted to tip you off to some new names who have joined the lists. This article covers five ladies labeled as centers who are new to the list as of this past week.

Courtney has had flashes of nice potential this Spring. She has broad shoulders, long arms and legs, some strength, and she works to get up and down the floor in transition. She doesn't mind contact and will initiate it most of the time, but she could stand to play just a bit lower and drive her matchup. She looks like she is being coached and she's attempting specific moves, and she has solid hands and keeps the ball high. Defensively, she is a nice presence in the paint, and she can deter most opposing drivers.

Nieah is someone who appeared this Spring on the grassroots circuit and has been solid each time out. She has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, plus she's wearing a heavy knee brace. Assuming it was a recent injury, she should only become more fluid and explosive in time. She has solid hands, and she looks to protect the ball and finish with half-hooks over defenders. She's more of a rebounder/defender type than a pure scorer right now, but I think she can become a double-double producer.

Faith is a strong, physical post prospect with broad shoulders. She does a nice job of using her frame to establish position in the halfcourt, whether that is on offense or defense. She has soft hands, the ability to put it on the floor 2 to 3 dribbles and get somewhere productively, plus she has some touch in the mid-post. She even knocked down a couple of 3-pointers this past Winter for the Lady Norse. I think she has the potential to be a really nice small college low-block presence, but she doesn't play grassroots ball.

Azlee is another more traditional post, with good size, strength, broad shoulders, but she also has some length. She has good hands and has been a consistent Varsity performer, but without any Seniors this past Winter, she was able to step to the forefront a little more. She likes to establish herself on the block offensively, and she can go into a drop-step and finish high or reverse-pivot and shoot over most defenders. Defensively, she is a real presence in the paint, and she can make opponents think twice.

Kenleigh has stood out to a few small colleges I've talked to this Spring, because she is strong, athletic, and she plays with a nice motor and some bounce. She is a lefty, and she does a nice job of reverse-pivoting to finish over defenders with her left. She gets out and runs the floor in transition, plus she is an effective box-out rebounder, though she can also pursue caroms outside of her area. Additionally, she has the athleticism to be able to sit down and defend wings on the perimeter and the strength to defend posts inside.
