Courtney is a post prospect with a nice ceiling, and she has yet to reach it yet. She has a long frame, with long arms and legs, but she also has strength in her shoulders and torso. She can sit down and post with physicality, she has some low-post finishing moves, but as she starts to expand her game, she could be a problem because she does seal well. Defensively, she runs the floor, she does a nice job of utilizing her length, and she pursues rebounds. After her two years of Junior College, she could draw full scholarship offers.

Courtney has had flashes of nice potential this Spring. She has broad shoulders, long arms and legs, some strength, and she works to get up and down the floor in transition. She doesn’t mind contact and will initiate it most of the time, but she could stand to play just a bit lower and drive her matchup. She looks like she is being coached and she’s attempting specific moves, and she has solid hands and keeps the ball high. Defensively, she is a nice presence in the paint, and she can deter most opposing drivers.

I mentioned Courtney earlier this Spring, and she is an up-and-comer who has started to draw more “eyes” from college coaches. She has a strong frame, broad shoulders, but also some length in her arms and legs. She does a nice job of running the floor and playing “big”. She is still learning finishing moves and how to finish through contact, but she keeps the ball high and looks like she is absorbing coaching. Her best days are likely well in front of her, because she has a great deal of potential for the college level.

I first saw Courtney when she was in middle school, and with her size, she always flashed nice potential but definitely needed some skill work. Fast forward to today, and she has come a long way and is now highly productive. She has broad shoulders, length in her arms and legs, and she has the ability to play with physicality when she wants. She does like to pursue rebounds instead of box out, and she prefers to catch the ball low, reverse-pivot, face the basket, and shoot over defenders. But she can run the floor for a traditional post, she plays with a nice motor, and she still has room to grow her game.
