Yesterday in our coverage of the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2027 rankings update, we told you about the first eight of our 21 newcomers. Today we'll continue on, breaking down the next 13 additions from across the state, bringing the total number of prospects in the 2027 rankings up to 186. Here is part two of the newcomers.

[player_tooltip player_id='764218' first='Neema' last='Simbeye']

13 MORE NEWCOMERS

#174 [player_tooltip player_id='764218' first='Neema' last='Simbeye'] – 6'1 post, Eden Prairie

Over the years we've seen Simbeye grow in both her skill level and impact on the court. She excels in the pick-and-roll, crashing the boards, and has expanded her offensive skillset considerably. All that hard work has been paying off for the Eden Prairie post this spring. She joins the rankings at #174.

#175 [player_tooltip player_id='1867158' first='Xandra' last='Jackson'] – 5'10 wing, PACT Charter

After averaging close to a double-double for PACT Charter over the winter, Jackson has made a splash in her first AAU season. While her game is still raw, the 5'10 wing makes things happen on both ends of the floor. Long, quick, and possessing a tremendous work ethic, Xandra enters the rankings at #175.

#176 [player_tooltip player_id='1859062' first='Tea' last='Alvarenga'] – 5'7 guard, Park of Cottage Grove

The [program_tooltip program_id='712362' first='Legacy' last='Hoops'] guard got herself noticed last month at Live at the Lakes. Alvarenga displayed her speed, ability to play with pace, constant activity on the floor, and overall toughness on both ends. Tea brings a ‘whatever it takes' attitude each time she steps on the court. She slots in at #176.

#177 [player_tooltip player_id='1276445' first='Chloe' last='Fehr'] – 5'6 guard, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta

Fehr is one of those players whose game is built on their defensive identity. She closes the gaps, jumps passing lanes, and has a real knack for picking steals off the other team's ball handlers. The Morris Area guard keeps things simple, but highly effective on the other end of the floor. Chloe joins the rankings at #177.

[player_tooltip player_id='1864700' first='Natalie' last='Lauinger']

#178 [player_tooltip player_id='1864700' first='Natalie' last='Lauinger'] – 5'8 guard, Centennial

As she heads towards her senior season at Centennial, the pieces are all falling into place for Lauinger. The 5'8 guard, who plays for [program_tooltip program_id='712697' first='MN' last='Crossfire'], has made a dramatic leap in her offensive game in recent months. Not to mention, she has all the physical tools required to play at the next level. Natalie enters the Class of 2027 rankings at #178.

#179 [player_tooltip player_id='887115' first='Atee' last='Obang'] – 5'9 wing, Austin

Following a strong but injury riddled junior season at Austin, Obang is making significant strides with [program_tooltip program_id='712352' first='Air' last='Minnesota'] this spring. Ridiculously long and effortlessly athletic, the 5'9 wing is bursting with potential. Creative in her scoring and hard working on the defensive end, Atee comes in at #179.

#180 [player_tooltip player_id='899007' first='Richelle' last='Cooper'] – 5'8 guard, Coon Rapids

Averaging 17.4 points per game over the winter, Cooper was the leading scorer at Coon Rapids in her junior season. With strength and power on both ends of the floor, the 5'8 guard's athleticism shines through each time she steps on the court. Her constant effort and ability to make big plays are impossible to ignore. Playing for Hoop Habits Elite 17U this spring, Richelle joins the rankings at #180.

#181 [player_tooltip player_id='1865255' first='Alaia' last='Douah'] – 5'11 forward, Northfield

After watching her with [program_tooltip program_id='712665' first='Metro' last='Stars'] over the past couple of months, adding Douah to the Class of 2027 rankings was a complete no-brainer. The 5'11 forward runs the floor well, plays physical, and all around is very fundamentally sound. While she's not necessarily going to drop 25 every night, Alaia is constantly finding ways to impact the outcome of the game. She enters the rankings at #181.

#182 [player_tooltip player_id='1865256' first='Toni' last='Ogunleye'] – 5'6 guard, Champlin Park

Both the primary ball handler, premier perimeter defender, and one of the leading scorers for the [program_tooltip program_id='712700' first='Minnesota' last='Suns'] Bluestar squad this spring, it's safe to say that Ogunleye's impact has been quite noticeable. Toni plays with the game pace and a significant amount of poise, making her nearly impossible for opponents to rattle. The 5'6 guard out of Champlin Park jumps in at #182.

#183 [player_tooltip player_id='1867160' first='Lauren' last='Sendzik'] – 5'9 guard, Zimmerman

Following a junior season where she averaged just over 9 points per contest, Sendzik has continued to grow her offensive game in the AAU season. The 5'9 guard excels at getting downhill and finishing through contact at the rim. Following the graduation of several seniors, Lauren is set to be a key component for the Thunder in her senior season. She makes an entrance at #183.

#184 [player_tooltip player_id='1291558' first='Lindsay' last='Olin'] – 5'8 guard, Mountain Iron-Buhl

Olin carved out a role for herself with Class A powerhouse Mountain Iron-Buhl in her junior season, providing key depth off the bench for the Rangers in their 30-2 season. The 5'8 guard has a knack for picking up steals on the perimeter, leading to transition buckets for her team. Lindsay breaks into the rankings at #184.

#185 [player_tooltip player_id='1867161' first='Abby' last='Evink'] – 5'7 guard, Alexandria

Yet another member of the [program_tooltip program_id='767539' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Canesi squad who joins the rankings this month, Evink has been on the rise at Alexandria for a couple of seasons now. The 5'7 guard has made major strides in her overall skillset and should be a key piece for the Cardinals going forward. She joins the rankings at #185.

#186 [player_tooltip player_id='1491341' first='Alyson' last='Grinde'] – 5'9 guard, Champlin Park

Putting up some serious numbers with the [program_tooltip program_id='712700' first='Minnesota' last='Suns'] in recent months, Grinde has burst into our field of view this spring. The 5'9 guard is quick, competitive, makes good decisions with the ball in her hands, and is consistently putting up numbers in the double-digits. Alyson enters the rankings at #186.

ABOUT THE RANKINGS

The Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings are based on an individual player's potential at the collegiate level. The rankings are NOT based solely on current performance, as there are a multitude of factors that determine how a player's game will translate to the next level.
