Jersey Live: Saturday’s Standouts

The following players are the very best I got eyes on today, the final day of the 2026 high school live period.

Noelle saw her stock boost exponentially after today. She took an aggressive approach vs Middle Township and commanded the floor, both offensively and defensively. Confident multi-level scoring, including hard-nosed play in the paint which earned her trips to the FT line. The offense flowed through her and for good reason!

Kam was the star of the show vs Rutgers Prep. She controlled the tempo and dictates play. Very effective pull-up middy & straightaway 3 ball. Super quick in transition to beat everyone downhill time & time again. Very aggressive off the bounce, earning trips to the FT line for free points.

This was my first time getting eyes on Neva and all I can say is WOW! She started off strong & continued to heat up as the day went on. Red-hot hand from 3. She put herself in a position to score and build offense. She thrived in a fast-paced tempo and was very crafty around the basket on scoops & reverse layups.

Ferocious rebounding guard; met the rim a few times to pull down boards. Major hops & elite athleticism. She was bouncy on the drive & attracted the attention of the defense. Picture perfect elevation and release on her mid-range jumper. Oftentimes double-teamed and was still able to make winning plays. The epitome of cool, calm & collected basketball on full display.

A lot of fire in her game. High volume shooter who mixed up the scoring on 3 balls, mid-range jumpers & slashing dribble drives. Her teammates have a lot of trust in her offensive abilities because she keeps a "shooter's shoot" mentality; missed field goals don't faze her. She played fast and did a great job forcing GSB to play at her tempo.

A total difference-maker vs Camden Catholic. Driving layups & deep 2's made up the bulk of her scoring; she did a great job splitting the defense. Physically strong to absorb contact & still finish around the rim. She stuck with the play, followed her shot & grabbed rebounds off her own miss; very determined!

Hot 3-point shooting carried over from Friday into today. Antonia was poised vs a very talented and relentlessly scrappy Bethlehem Catholic squad & it paid dividends keeping her teammates calm. She matched whatever physicality was thrown her way and kept up the intensity; she wasn't punked or intimidated. Very reliable to knock down big shots. Clutch!
