The Titans will have a lot of athletes on the floor next season. Schwindt is one of the better jumpers I have seen in Region 4.  She utilizes her length defensively and is great at pursuing rebounds.  I once again asked Coach Scheeler about his thoughts on one of his key returners.  Here is what he had to say: “Mikayla served most of the season as our sixth man but worked her way into the starting lineup by the end of the season.  She shot 36% from 3pt range in her junior season, and she’ll likely get the green light from all over as a senior.  Mikayla is a very solid offensive player.  For her to reach her maximum potential, she’ll need to work harder on defense and will have to play more physical.  She does use her length to her advantage when it comes to rebounding.  She’s a smart player that watches a lot of basketball, so I see that really helping her out in her senior season.”
