Eriny Kinred-6’0 SF- she already has offers on the table and I elevated her to #BCS because she elevated her game to drop the long ball, create off the dribble as well as attack the rim and finish with contact and the player I thought she would become when I saw her in middle school has exceeded my expectations because watching her score in the flow or just take over a game has been a pleasure
Malena Delascurain-6’1 SF- I love seeing players that I hadn’t seen before just go completely off and the reason I usually don’t see them is that they’re playing somewhere I’m not or I didn’t have a roster if they were but she’s long and athletic, has a nice pull-up and her shot is fluid and consistent but the icing on the cake was she plays the passing lane and has good timing to block shots
Jaylin Foster-6’1 SF-all I can say is wow as she impressed me before the games even began. She handles the ball well in the open court as well as from the wing and she can and finish strongly with either hand, after contact but watching her elevate over defenders on her jumper was smooth but she also flipped the script and defended those who were attempting jumpers and had several blocks and deflections
Rachiel Anderson-6’1 PF-turned it on when the games progressed and finished on fire but her demeanor just jumped out immediately so I sort of expected what was coming because she was focused and battled strongly on the defensive end. Good hands and footwork were big pluses but she also showed some open court highlights as she attacked and finished with flair
Jada Kyles-Washington-6’3 C- to say “made her presence felt” would definitely be an understatement as she sent a message early that she was there for a reason. Her mobility in the paint combined with good hands and footwork was really good but she finished with players hanging on her which is even better. That ties into her strength, which was on display as she rebounded, on both ends
Eliya Ellis-6’0 PF-(Clear Creek HS) I’ve been watching Ellis for what seems like a lifetime and watching her raw talent back in middle school sold me because she was one of those “you won’t outwork me” types of players and she still is, however, the rawness has been seasoned and grilled as she finishes consistently, rebounds strongly and battles for everything off the glass, on the floor or in the stands
