PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase Team 5 Evaluations: Part One

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase is in the books. About 90 players made the trip to the Champions Center, and plenty of notable players stood out. We will look at the 5v5 teams and discuss what each player brought to the table when I saw them play. I'll highlight a few players later because of number changes and to make sure I know who I noted. She didn't necessarily have the ball in her hands most of the time, but when she did, she showed plenty of positive signs. White showed she can defend multiple perimeter players per possession and has the physical tools to defend some post players when needed. Kellihan is a scrappy undersized player who doesn't back down defensively. She can be a pest on that end of the floor and frustrate opposing guards at the point of attack. However, Keefer is a name to know for the future. She has the physical tools to be a physical player on both ends of the floor, and she's willing to play a role to help her team thrive. Flynn is a physical guard and moves her feet well on the perimeter. She was engaged every second she was on the floor, which helped her stand out on both ends to me. I also liked how well she protected the ball as a lead guard on offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
