The Southeast Wisconsin native is an athletic wing who showed versatility defensively. White showed she can defend multiple perimeter players per possession and has the physical tools to defend some post players when needed. I also liked her ability to help her team by getting down the floor in transition offense.

One of the more dynamic post players, that I watched, at the Freshman Showcase, White showed glimpses into why she is so highly rated. Around the hoop, the 5-10 white showed crisp footwork and the ability, and strength to finish in traffic. On the perimeter she showed a very quick first step easily blowing by her defender, getting into the paint, and, on one occasion showing a nice right-to-left crossover spin move that drew a reaction from the fans.

I remember watching White over the summer and being impressed, but at the Freshman Showcase, she took her game to another level. In the game I watched she was everywhere disruptive defensively , attacking the glass and making plays. What stood out most was her ability to put the ball on the floor and create her own shot. I will definitely be keeping an eye on her this upcoming season.

Elle showed good control when driving into the paint and stayed balanced through contact. She did a nice job reading help defenders and adjusting her finishes around the rim. Her change of pace allowed her to create space when lanes were crowded. Elle’s decision-making on drives helped keep her offense efficient.
