PGH Expo: Team 10 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PGH Washington Expo was a massive success this year. We had over 100 athletes attend, which set the record for most athletes at the Expo. Here is the team evaluation for team 10.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#24 - [player_tooltip player_id='984403' first='Ava' last='Ondong'] - Napavine HS</em></strong> - Ava was a consistent threat on the offensive end throughout the entire showcase. She did a great job attacking the ball and being able to get by defenders with ease and finish through contact in the paint. She was a high level defender too, moving her feet well and recovering quickly. She is a player to keep an eye on. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#37 - [player_tooltip player_id='1331612' first='Aylen' last='Davidson'] - Camas HS</em></strong> - Aylen utilized her size and length to her advantage on both ends of the court. Offensively, she was able to score nicely through contact and use her wingspan to finish around the rim. She has a nice jumper too, knocking it down nicely and having a high release point. She rebounded the ball at a high level too, grabbing it off the rim smoothly. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#265 - [player_tooltip player_id='1263280' first='Raquel' last='Dunnam'] - Eastside Catholic HS</strong></em> - Raquel was a top performer and showcased an offensive game where she scored at all 3 levels throughout the day. She shot the ball at a high percentage from deep, staying ready to shoot and keeping her confidence high. She used her elite crossover to get down hill and get paint touches, being able to get buckets or find open teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#266 - [player_tooltip player_id='1307232' first='Nyla' last='Knipp'] - Issaquah HS</em></strong> - Nyla is always one of the best defenders on the court when I watch her play and nothing was different during the expo. She can defend multiple positions and excelled during 3v3 play with her quick decision making abilities and fast feet. She is a hustle player who always goes 100%, making dynamic plays for her squad. While on the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#312 - [player_tooltip player_id='1879447' first='Mallory' last='Gaskill'] - WF West HS</em></strong> - Mallory is a quick guard who utilized her speed to her advantage when pushing in transition and showing her ability to be a hustle player. She always goes 110%, rebounding the ball nicely for a guard her size. She continued throughout the day to bring intensity on the defense end, guarding on-ball nicely. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#323 - [player_tooltip player_id='1309957' first='Nakiah' last='Barrett'] - Bonney Lake HS</strong></em> - Nakiah's energy on both ends is contagious for her teammates. She brings a spark for her team by attacking gaps and always sprinting to her spots. She can defend multiple positions and shows her strength when getting rebounds. She is excellent in transition too by pushing the pace and finishing through contact. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#350 - [player_tooltip player_id='1275449' first='London' last='Roy'] - Bothell HS</strong></em> - London made a lot of impactful plays on both ends throughout the day. She defended at a high level, moving her feet quickly and being able to guard multiple positions during 5v5 play. She adjusted through contact and wasn't afraid to initiate contact and be physical in the paint. She has a nice offensive game and showed a refined game during the expo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#356 - [player_tooltip player_id='1308399' first='Savannah' last='Johnson'] - Bellevue HS</em></strong> - Savannah was one of the top performers and really stood out in a variety of ways. She was excellent in the transition game, showing her speed when leaking out and being able to finish through contact when getting down-hill. Johnson was able to knock down shots from deep consistently all day.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#196 - Jasa Lindsey - Lincoln HS (OR)</strong></em> - Jasa was one of the few players from Oregon to come up and compete and she did a fantastic job. She utilized her dribble to get to her spots then being able to knock down jumpers or finish through contact in the paint. She was very effective during 5v5 play, making plays with her pass and being an elite playmaker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
