PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase Team 10 Evaluations: Part One

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase is in the books. About 90 players made the trip to the Champions Center, and plenty of notable players stood out. We will look at the 5v5 teams and discuss what each player brought to the table when I saw them play. I'll highlight a few players later because of number changes and to make sure I know who I took notes on. Haller plays hard every minute she's on the floor and will help her team earn extra possessions. Bal is at her best in an off-ball role and allowing ball-dominant players to attack off the dribble. Her best skill is how well she can pressure the ball on the perimeter defensively. Johnsen can get to her spots off the dribble and score from all three levels. She is also a confident kid who will shoot whenever she has space, which isn't common in newcomers at the high school level. Fink is also an athletic kid who can push the ball up the floor in transition and help her team get easy looks at the basket. She's an undersized guard who can attack the rim and make plays for herself and her teammates. She has the speed and skill to beat her initial defender off the dribble and create numerical advantages for her team in half-court offense.
