The future Pewaukee Pirate had a nice few days with Pewaukee to end the week at Summer Slam, and had a solid three days at camp. Johnsen is a skilled guard who can handle the ball under pressure and create on the ball. I thought she played under control and changed pace well. I also think she should be a solid shooter right away. However, as she matures and gets stronger, she could develop into an excellent perimeter shooter over the next few years.

Probably the most promising point guard in the camp, Johnsen has been a scoring machine each scrimmage she hasn’t lost a touch since the last game I attended of hers while playing with Team Prime Nation .

Johnsen is a prospect I’m looking forward to watching closely. The class of 2030 standout plays up with Team Prime Nation 15U, her quick first step combined with a great handle makes her a problem for defenders, I also noticed she’s able to create her own shot consistently with ease.

Charlee was impactful on both ends of the floor for Team Prime Nation 15U EYBL on Saturday at the Great Lakes Kickoff. Her pesky perimeter pressure and dynamic presence on offense helped the team succeed. Charlee took a defensive rebound the distance for a bucket and knocked down free throws confidently at the line. She scored a tough contested layup with her left hand off two feet and buried a smooth three in the slot. Charlee deflected passes, turned ball-handlers with her lateral quickness, and generated steals. She’s an effective facilitator, scrappy defender, and multidimensional scorer who attacks off the dribble with determination.

Johnsen is the real deal. This kid has a solid foundation of skills that outweigh her size. She can get to the rim without all the extra moves and finish off bigger players with no hesitation. The ball handling is slick and decisive, and there also seems to be a strong amount of confidence that allows her to play with such poise.

This kid has some great energy! I love her spunkiness on the court, she has smooth and slick handles and able to run the offense effectively. She can push transition and she’s not afraid to let it fly from behind the arc. Just needs to hit the weight room to be able to handle the physical play on penetrating to the rim.
