The Proving Ground D2/D3 Showcase: Phoenix Elite Hoopers

Gabby was leading the charge at the Point Guard position. She created well off the dribble for her teammates and was able to slash her way through the gaps and find the holes of the defense that opened up open looks for her teammates. There were times she was making passes using both her right and left hand which was impressive. She also had opportunities where she was able to blow by the defense and score at will. She plays a lot bigger than she really is. She is tough on the glass and can defend at the guard or post position. She was able to slice through the defense and finish in the open court with her transition moves. You could see her physical strength as she was able to get fouled and finish the play especially going left. She was a force in the paint as other players really struggled to get shots off over her long reach. She also adds a rebounding dimension that makes it difficult for the opponents to keep her from scoring off putbacks. Sow was able to turn over her shoulder and score, do a turnaround jumper and a step through move all in the paint area.
