Gabby continues to rise in the rankings due to her steady play. She is impressive making moves with the ball in her hands especially in the open court. She also is doing a great job of distributing the ball and finding easy shots for her teammates. One thing that you can always count on is for her to play one hundred percent on the defensive end. She loves to turn her defense into offensive productivity.

Also known as Gabby. Gabby can get the ball up the floor quickly and does a great job of pushing the ball out and limiting dribbles. She can find the correct angles and create her own shot getting to the basket or she can split the defenders and create a pass for her teammates. She sees the floor well and can deliver a pass off two feet from penetrating and pitching, but is also tall enough and strong enough to make skip passes across the court. Mebane also can shoot the ball around the perimeter and is best when her feet at set.

Gabrielle Troy-Mebane was all over the court on defense getting in the way of her opponents as they tried to bring it up for some offense. She would jump in front of passing lanes grabbing the steal and make the pass up the court to her teammate that had released. She can pick the pocket of her opponents, too, when someone tries to dribble by her. She handles the ball with speed and effectively uses her change of direction moves to get to the rim.

A 5’7″ 2026 guard who showed some toughness as she turned an ankle early in the event, but came back to have a very good showing. She is a potent offensive player who was knocking down 3-pointers off the catch while also creating her own shot off the dribble. I was also impressed with her defensively as she moved her feet well and also had some quick hands to disrupt opposing ball handlers.

Gabrielle Troy-Mebane showed off her nice stroke from deep getting open and putting up the shot hitting several in a row to start off the games. She can create her own space off the dribble or shoot off the pass. She did a nice job putting up shot fakes and getting in the paint to pull up for her jumper. Her change of speed moves are definitely difficult to defend.

recently announced that she will be continuing her high school career at Link Academy in Missouri, so I am taking this opportunity to write about her one more time as a student in North Carolina. With the ball around the perimeter, she sees the floor well knowing how to whip the pass into her teammates on the block or hit the target in stride as someone cuts to the hoop. She doesn’t need to make the pass, though, as she can certainly knock down her shot from deep. She hustles on both ends of the court, especially finding ways to score quickly in transition.

is very fun to watch on the court with the energy that she brings. She pushes the ball increasing the tempo finding her open teammates with some nice dishes up the court or in the paint between multiple defenders. Her ability to step outside and knock down the shot or attack the basket shows how she can score on all levels. She’s tough on defense, too, being able to strip the ball from her opponents and explode up the court for some fast break points. You can catch her this weekend at The Clash in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Gabrielle Troy-Mebane got in on the shooting action from deep. What really stood out to me, though was her defense. She’s a tough defender being able to guard any ball handler she is assigned to. Her defense was crucial late in the fourth quarter grabbing a steal after a timeout deflating her opponents’ hopes.

Gabrielle Troy-Mebane is one of the top scorers in her conference currently as she can score on any level. She’s also one of the top assist makers showing how she facilitates the offense scoring on her own or finding the open teammate. She’s able to take advantage of how the defender guards her putting up her shot if she has some space or using their momentum against them while they close out, and she throws up a fake to get around them. She can pull up for some nice midrange jumpers, too. She’s a tough defender getting her hands involved in everything making it difficult for people to get by her.
