The PGH Washington Expo was a massive success this year. We had over 100 athletes attend, which set the record for most athletes at the Expo. Here is the team evaluation for team 12.

#28 - [player_tooltip player_id='1262987' first='Makenna' last='Pepper'] - Selah HS - Makenna is a fantastic shooter and is a player who can adjust her style of play based on what her team needs. She can be a catch and shoot player, hitting a high percentage from deep or she can utilize her dribble to break down defenders and get buckets inside the perimeter. During 5v5 play she defended nicely while getting buckets on the other end, being a top two way player from the camp. Pepper is a player on the rise and someone coaches should be watching next season.

#201 - [player_tooltip player_id='688514' first='Kylin' last='Kinchen'] - Seattle Prep - Kylin drove the ball efficiently all showcase, being able to effectively use both hands when attacking and getting paint touches for her team. Kinchen uses her strength well when grabbing rebounds, not being afraid to initiate contact down low and out-body opposing players. She can shoot the ball from a high percentage from deep too, showcasing her elite shot during 5v5 play.

#214 - [player_tooltip player_id='985982' first='Kylie' last='Ngo'] - Woodinville HS - Kylie is a quick guard who runs the court in transition really smoothly. She sees gaps and does a nice job at attacking them and making nice plays. She is great off the pick and roll, using screens perfectly to get space and find the open roller with ease. Ngo defended the ball at a high level too, moving her feet quickly and recovering fast.

#263 - [player_tooltip player_id='1606284' first='Makiya' last='Saldana'] - Chiawana HS - Makiya has an extremely high IQ of the game, making plays on both ends. She made the extra pass when needed but can also put the ball on the floor to attack open gaps that the defense shows. Saldana defended at a high level by getting her hands in the passing lanes all day and defending 1on1 smoothly.

#314 - [player_tooltip player_id='1823213' first='Gracie' last='Robinson'] - Peninsula HS - Gracie was one of the best defenders from the showcase, being a standout from the day. She sprinted to her spots every possession and never gave less than 100% on the court during the whole expo. Robinson did a great job at using her speed to get by defenders and get paint touches which led to easy buckets for herself or her teammates.

#322 - [player_tooltip player_id='1899140' first='Leilani' last='Sanders'] - Richland HS - Leilani is a smooth guard who uses her speed perfectly to defend at a high level and attack the ball nicely. She has a great shot from long range as she wasn't scared to shoot it and knows when to shoot it and when to make the extra pass. Sanders is a difference maker on the court by doing the little things for her team.

#349 - [player_tooltip player_id='1166721' first='Nina' last='Wilson'] - Garfield HS - Nina was another top performer from the showcase as she constantly made plays on both ends. She got her hands in the passing lanes to get deflections and steals for her team which led to easy buckets. She shot the ball really well from deep, having confidence in her shot and being able to sink it smoothly when letting it fly. She played unselfishly too, always making the extra pass throughout the day.

#355 - [player_tooltip player_id='1902128' first='Quincy' last='Olsen'] - North Creek HS - Quincy was a player at the expo who consistently was able to impact the game in multiple ways. She used her size to set good screens and rebound the ball well, also being able to finish around the rim with a soft touch. She extended her range to the three point level too, having a nice release and the confidence to shoot it.

The PGH Washington Expo was a massive success this year. We had over 100 athletes attend, which set the record for most athletes at the Expo. Here is the team evaluation for team 12.
