PGH Dakotas Expo: Team 3 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Working primarily on the boys side of things so far for PH and now getting my first opportunity to work a girls event I came away extremely impressed with what I saw this Sunday at the PHG Expo at the Impact Sports Center in Sioux Falls Sd. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 40 plus girls at the event from SD, ND, MN and Iowa all competed hard for 4 hours of basketball in 3vs3 and 5vs5 competition, and compete they did! Girls played with pace and intensity throughout the day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I love the set up of playing 3vs3 first because you can see whos comfortable guarding in space and who can handle and recognize mismatches quickly and then take advantage of them as well. The 5vs5 games show who knows spacing/off ball movement and creating and advantage when one isn't initially there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Working with PGH Scout Legend Grant McGinnis was a great experience for me, in just a few hours I gained a great deal of knowledge!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this article we will go over the standout <p>-Smart/lets the game come to her and takes what the defense gives her</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-Has nice touch on her passes, makes them easy to catch and finish </p>
