Bevers is simply fun to watch. The Clark point guard plays with obvious joy and infectious energy, but underneath that enthusiasm is a highly competitive floor leader with outstanding instincts. She has an advanced feel for the game, consistently creating opportunities for teammates while remaining poised under defensive pressure. Jenny changes speeds effectively, handles the ball comfortably on the move and keeps defenders off balance with her ability to score or distribute. Her compact, repeatable shooting stroke makes her a reliable perimeter threat, while her active hands and anticipation allow her to create turnovers on the defensive end. She looks every bit the part of a true point guard.

Bevers (pictured above) was simply a blast to watch. I loved her game from the get-go and went back for more later in the weekend. More than once Jenny appeared trapped with nowhere to go, only to wriggle free with the basketball or find an open teammate. That’s not something you can really teach. That’s just feel and not everyone has it. The Clark/Willow Lake guard combines smooth athleticism with an inventive style that keeps defenders guessing. She runs effortlessly, changes gears in a hurry, and attacks openings before they disappear. Her jumper is compact and repeatable, and she’s equally comfortable creating her own shot. Add in active hands, sharp instincts, and a willingness to play with energy every possession, and you have a player who constantly asks for your attention.

Jenny plays well beyond her age. She is a member of the All Expo Team, All Sniper Team, and All Handles Team. Bevers is a high IQ player who’s extremely active on the floor. She always has herself in a position to catch and shoot and can create her own shot. Jenny also defends the ball with great intensity.

Maybe the smallest guard at the Expo and certainly one of the youngest, but brought one of the highest levels of game IQ and court awareness of the day.
