Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Hannig is Maple River’s starting center and the anchor of their defense. She does a great job of moving her feet defensively and cutting off drives. She is a physically strong player and brings a toughness to the interior. I like her fundamentals, especially her attention to detail when boxing out opponents. She keeps the best rebounder on the opposing team away from the basket with her strength and quickness. Hannig runs the floor well and keeps pressure on the rim in transition.
