The current pandemic has put us in situations we have never imagined. This obviously includes all sports from the youth level all the way through the professional leagues. The NBA has done an excellent job keeping players safe, while still keeping the games and season going. The Bubble in the NBA has allowed the season to successfully carry on. What if Michigan high school basketball had a bubble? What players would we want to make sure to see play in our bubble? Here’s a look at some players from the class of 2023 that we’d want to be sure are invited to the Michigan Bubble.
Take a look at our class of 2021 and 2022 Players In The Bubble below:

[player_tooltip player_id="189301" first="Jalyn" last="Austin"] (SG, Southfield A&T)
Austin needs to be in the bubble. She has another gear, and when she’s in it, she can be the best offensive player on the floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="189279" first="Lexi" last="Boyke"] (PF, Frankenmuth)
Boyke is a must watch in the class of 2023. She has a post game that’s way more mature than that of most seniors.
[player_tooltip player_id="188582" first="Macy" last="Brown"] (PG, East Grand Rapids)
Brown has an incredibly high ceiling. Her handles and jumper make her a threat in so many different ways.
[player_tooltip player_id="189293" first="Faith" last="Carson"] (C, Buchanan)
Carson exploded on to the scene this summer. She’s established hersself as a top 100 prospect in the country and has to be in our bubble.
[player_tooltip player_id="188584" first="Mayla" last="Ham"]m (SF, Wayne Memorial)
Hamm has really looked good this summer when I’ve seen her. She is running the wing and making herself a threat in the open floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="189294" first="Kristina" last="Peach"] (PG, Whitmore Lake)
Peach is a small town star. The Michigan Bubble would be a great chance to show her talent to the rest of the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="188564" first="Maddie" last="Petroelje"] (SF, Hudsonville)
Petroelje is as versatile as they come and is a matchup nightmare on both ends of the floor. There may not be a better 2 way player.
[player_tooltip player_id="188583" first="Sarah" last="Rambus"] (PF, Flushing)
Rambus showed some high level flashes during high school season. That continued this summer as she established herself as a top post prospect in the midwest.
[player_tooltip player_id="189300" first="Shamya" last="Reid"] (PG, Westfield Prep)
Reid is a playmaking floor leader. She attacks the rim off the dribble and forces the defense to adjust. An offensive firecracker like Reid needs to be in the Michigan Bubble.
