2021 unsigned seniors to watch- NW Ohio

I have enjoyed some more discussions with coaches around Ohio regarding some of their 2021 seniors who are still not committed to a college, and there are several talented players available. Many of them played this summer, and today, a look at some of the key seniors from Northwest Ohio. In this specific group, most of them are from Toledo St. Ursula as they have worked together to put together a solid team and each of them could make a nice addition at the collegiate level. <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="91124" first="Nakiya" last="Sigman"], 5’4 Lima Senior</span></strong> One of the most underrated point guards in Ohio. If you still need 21’s, you may want to check her out. The thing that is keeping her from likely going D1 would be her size. It definitely isn’t her heart or desire. She has a very solid basketball IQ with talented all around skills. Has the ability to lead a team to a successful season, and she could be a game changer for the right program. She has the skill to score at the rim, can shoot from long range and can create shots for her posts. Very quick hands defensively. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91123" first="Emily" last="Savage"], 5-8 St. Ursula</strong></span> Emily has a high skill set and could be a good fit anywhere from NAIA to D2. Has an excellent three-point range and ability to get to the rim, Has gotten stronger at the mid-range during the off-season and has improved on her defense. Excellent student with a 4.0 and will make some program a very solid point guard. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91105" first="Lila" last="Kalman"], 6’2 St. Ursula</strong></span> She could get some low D1 looks, but definitely is a scholarship player. Can play with her back to the basket, or face up with good range out to beyond the arc. Can protect the rim with her shot blocking ability and can defend the lane. Has improved her rebounding and will attack the rim off the dribble. Floor leader and a good basketball IQ. Can run the floor. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Marie Panfil, 5’11 St. Ursula</strong></span> She is a very athletic kid who is strong physically and has a lot of speed. Can rebound, is fierce on defense and works to get the ball at all times. Good footwork around the rim, good rip and 1-dribble attack from inside the arc. Can catch and shoot well if she is set from deep range. Strong vocal and does the little things to get the job done. Can defend a post with good shot blocking ability. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91137" first="Gabby" last="Whitzel"], 5’8 St. Ursula</strong></span> Love the way this kid plays. She can bury shots from anywhere at any time. If you defend her close, she will get by you and score at the rim. Also uses her size well to score off the block and has a high IQ of the game. Experience is a key for Gabby as she can lead a team. Sees the floor and will find her teammates. <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Kennedy Warnecke, 5’9 St. Ursula</span></strong> Rounds out a very solid group of seniors at Ursula and she is very explosive and strong from the wing spot. Can score in the paint and is a mismatch for guards with her ability to score in the paint. She also is a problem is a post guards her with her ability to score from the perimeter. Has good consistent range, and is working to improve that. Solid on the boards and can see the floor and pass well.
