Another look at some of the top seniors available at the OGBR Elite Exposure Showcase last weekend in Cincinnati.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Taryn Cash, 5-7 Princeton</strong></span>
Solid athletic guard who thrives in the transition game. Really like her energy and willingness to get after it. She is a solid defender, which I felt was the strongest part of her game on this day She has active hands and can get in the passing lanes to disrupt. Also can score at the rim, uses her quickness to her advantage. Excited to see her again this fall at other events.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Madison Ward, 5-11 Chesapeake</span></strong>
Madison uses her body well and moves well without the ball. Does a solid job using her physical play to her advantage. Can set screens and create for her teammate. Solid rebounder. Just a hard-nosed player who continues to improve her skillset and can do the little things for her team to win.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Jaylah Captain, 5-8 Circleville</span></strong>
Loved the way she did the little things for her team. She can strike quickly and has the experience to help her team in many ways. Excellent intensity and did the dirty work for her team. Can score in multiple ways, good with the ball, solid handles and can rebound against taller kids.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="159380" first="Kara" last="King"], 5-8 Purcell Marian</span></strong>
One of the things I liked about Kara, among many good things she did, was how well she played the pick and roll. She knows where to be on the floor and moves well without the ball to get into position. Has the ability to play inside/out effectively. Has good footwork and is a smart basketball player with a good court IQ.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91114" first="Brianna" last="O’Connor"], 5-8 Hillard Davidson</strong></span>
One of the top all-around players I saw at the event, but have known about her for awhile now. She is a head strong player who can slash and score, or can attack from the perimeter. Can play through contact and will battle through screens to get in good position to score. Defensively she can guard multiple positions. High basketball IQ and intensity.
