To show how much I watch, these players got caught at a variety of events ran by Premier Basketball, She’s Ballin, Austin Elite’s TJ Showcase as well as Individual Showcases like All Eyez On Me, Pass Tha Ball Select 40, and Houston Dreams 713Showcase so I’m out there, I’m watching, I have some legit heat coming from the Duel States Girls Combine I recently covered so you have to place yourself in a position where someone with no agenda, someone who may not like your handler but won’t take on you and someone that actually knows what they’re looking at based on my years of being right, I’m definitely one of those people so here are some of the top shooters in the class
[player_tooltip player_id="206961" first="Micah" last="Cooper"]-5’10 (Sachse HS) Cy Fair Elite Nike Coop
Cooper was one of those players that showed "long ball expertise" at a very young age and watching her use her athleticism while being under control to make the shot told me a lot about what was coming so a couple of years later, she’s stronger, her range is around the NBA line and she is not only creating her shot very well but her midrange has taken off and with her deceptive first step, she gets to whatever spot she wants too and elevates with ease over defenders
[player_tooltip player_id="206964" first="Chloe" last="Mann"]-5’8 (BHS) Sky Digg
Mann was omitted the first time around, I caught her playing up and erroneously had the wrong class, that’s on me yet it’s a correctable error and her performances at both Prime Time Nationals and Pass Tha Ball Select 40 in Houston showed me even more because she plays with so much poise and within herself that she’s able to put up numbers in the flow yet she also can take over a game, her stop and pop as well as s solid step back make her hard to handle and she can drop it going full speed in the open court, mid to long
[player_tooltip player_id="206967" first="Nya" last="Wold"]-5’10 (Katy HS) Rytes Warriors
Wold was seen at the 713Showcase and she definitely dialed my area code as I thought she was a promising sophomore to be I had missed but I promise you this, with her size and skill set, as well as she rarely missed after creating her shot, she will definitely raise some eyebrows. The midrange is smooth, she can create her shot while under pressure for the pull-up jumper and she also did a good job at dropping the long ball, even showed some catch and shoot which I love to see
[player_tooltip player_id="207488" first="Simran" last="Williams"]-5’7 (North Shore HS) Texas Phenoms
Williams showed me she wasn’t an "URBAN LEGEND" because I had been hearing about this kid that could do it all and it would be easier for me to write what she couldn’t do and with that, I’m drawing a blank as far as positives yet I love her upside, she’s long and athletic, can handle the ball, with speed and control and her jumper is smooth and accurate either in the half or open court but hold on she does a good job at setting defenders up with a nice change of pace as well as a crossover and with her length, she can get it off whenever she wants
[player_tooltip player_id="206972" first="Madison" last="Bob"]-5’8 (Hightower HS)
Bob didn’t rush in off the top when I first saw her, yeah, she was long and athletic, that’s the base remember and sort of just took what was given yet as the season progressed she showed more and more like that jumper with the range as she just goes up, up and away to release but what really sold me, even more, was her performance at Pass Tha Ball Select 40 against the big girls, she took over several times, scored at will and did it with grace as she glided to the basket for points or just created off the dribble
