Ford blew me away off the top at the PGH Freshman Showcase with her intensity in the 3-on-3, yet that energy didn't stop when everything went live in the 5-on-5; see evaluations here. When you fall into that "never takes a play off" group, that's special, and her defense both inside and outside the paint created some problems. She hit the boards on both ends and finished strong around the basket. Her midrange jumper also looked good, but keep in mind she's just shy of "the magic number" but plays above it

Oommen has impressed both me and @playerrimedies multiple times over the past two seasons see evaluations here, and I was interested in how long the transition would take after entering high school. Watching her understand how to control the tempo as well as set teammates up for great looks answered my question immediately, yet she's also more explosive off the dribble and finishes stronger after contact; plus her jumper with a hand in her face looks good, and so does her "on the ball" defense

Let me back up; she has left me speechless since I first saw her, and I've seen her continuously improving her game and dropping clutch shots from, well, everywhere, which gives me signs she'll start high school with a bang

Devone also jumps on board from the WL and playing catch-up with her game at the PGH Freshman Showcase after initially making my Shooting 4 Da Cure Tip Sheet see evaluations here. She's so poised under pressure, and when you couple being "heady" and seeing plays before they develop, it falls into that "something you can't teach" category. I'm still thinking about how smooth her crossover was in traffic, plus her court vision and "stop and pop" jumper are going to create problems for defenders

Williams has a couple of Tip Sheets written by me and a couple from @playerrimedies; see evaluations here, and as I have mentioned several times, when you're able to use things from another era, like "hands and footwork" to score, that should be high on the teachable list, especially when you factor in size. Yeah, she hit the boards on both ends, did a good job defensively, but her scoring off the dribble and from outside, not to mention "seeing the floor" will have her climbing the charts over her career
