PGH Ohio Rankings- Class of ’21- Part 3

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91069" first="Arianna" last="Smith"]- 6'2, PF, Africentric:</strong>  What a strong, all-around ball player! Arianna moved up from 11 to 6 in the PGH rankings. She is fantastic inside the post area, and no doubt causes issues for opponents! Excellent rebounder, and does a beautiful job cleaning up the boards. Her length is such an advantage, added with her speed, ability to steal passes, block shots, and start transition with quick outlet passes! Indiana State is going to enjoy having her next season! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173070" first="Laila" last="Phelia"]- 5'11, SG, Mount Notre Dame:  </strong>Watching Laila play, you can't help but say "Wow!"  Her athleticism, and what she does on both ends of the court, whew! She runs the floor so well, making it easy to find her transition for the score. Absolutely deadly from 3 point range, mid range jumpers, and driving to the basket.  She plays text book defense..she picks pockets all day long!  Her versatility truly is a nightmare for opposing teams, because she can simply hurt you anywhere on the court! Laila is 8th in the PGH rankings. Maize and blue will look great on her next season! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91078" first="Aja" last="Austin"]- 6'1, C, Westerville South: </strong>This girl right here..OWNS the paint. And for opponents who come anywhere in the paint, is going to feel her presence! She is one of the strongest power forwards/ centers I've seen. Rebounding- not a problem, has a great sense anticipating missed shots, and cleans up with easy buckets. Beautiful footwork on the block, which no doubt came with many hours of fundamental repetition!  She can also hurt you behind the arc!  Excellent leader, and has moved up from 19 to 16 on the PGH rankings. This Delaware signee has a bright future! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159032" first="Emma" last="Elia"]- 5'5, PG, Struthers: </strong>Electrifying point guard to watch- great court vision in seeing the open teammate, and plays the game with such grace and confidence!  Her cuts to the basket are perfect, which allows her to score with ease. Able to shoot the three ball with no problem, and has a great scorers mentality. She handles the ball extremely well, and her passes have zip and beauty to them! She is a fun guard to watch, with a bright future! Emma moves from the Watch List to #49. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="211749" first="Emily" last="Adams"]- 6'0, PF, Middletown Fenwick: </strong>It is all about the fundamentals, when it comes to describing Emily's game!  Her moves on the block are outstanding- Defenders have difficulty stopping it! She hurts you down low, she hurts you from shooting outside, and her shoelace rips to the basket, again, are just fundamental basics that allow her to blow right past her defenders! Solid rebounder, can handle the ball well. She continues to get better and better! Emily is on the watchlist for PGH, and will be playing for the United States Air Force Academy's Women's basketball program next fall!
