2022 Rankings Update: Newcomers

With a growing list of 2022 prospects, new names can be found throughout the rankings. She has adjusted well in her time in the states and will give Marietta a dynamic option in the backcourt. Sterling has a good handle and plays with toughness. She will make a name for herself quickly. <ol start="17"> <li><strong> || 6-3 PF [player_tooltip player_id="205255" first="Zsofia" last="Telegdy"] – Trinity Christian</strong></li> </ol> Ineligible this upcoming season due to GHSA guidelines, the Hungarian import already has offers from UAB, UTEP and Kansas. Telegdy scores inside and out with a post-game and mid-range shot. She’s a skilled passer with high IQ. She’s got a nice back-to-the-basket game but also has a soft touch from beyond the arc. Owens can rebound in traffic and can get stops defensively. <ol start="45"> <li><strong> || 6-3 C [player_tooltip player_id="195604" first="Detavia" last="Salter"] – Bainbridge</strong></li> </ol> Blessed with size, [player_tooltip player_id="195604" first="Detavia" last="Salter"] is more than just a big body. She has great footwork in the low post and knows how to score on the block. She’s got nimble feet when working the pivot and has a variety of post moves. Her offense extends out to the three-point line where she’s capable of sinking the trail three. Salter is a solid rim-protector inside. <ol start="62"> <li><strong> || 5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="210308" first="Jakia" last="Little"] – Northeast-Macon</strong></li> </ol> Coming off a season in which she poured in 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 steals, [player_tooltip player_id="210308" first="Jakia" last="Little"] is a strong combo guard that can absorb contact when getting downhill. She is a streaky three-point shooter but shoots it well enough to keep defenses off balance. Her aggressive nature makes her tough to stop.
