GTRA looks to get back to its winning ways this year after failing to reach double figures in the wins department. The Titans took a little step back after winning 14, 17 and 15 games, finishing at 8-15. They will need to find a new leader on the court with the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id="135082" first="Madison" last="Hough"]. Mackenzie Hoffman and Mercedes DePyper appear ready to help replace Hough’s scoring production. Both averaged just over six points per game a year ago, with DePyper adding five rebounds a night.

From 2007-2017, Hampton-Dumont/CAL won at least 10 games each season, highlighted by a four-year stretch that saw them go 19-4, 19-6, 21-2 and 19-3. They got back to those winning ways this past season, finishing 18-4 and reaching the regional semifinals. While some key pieces have moved on, leading scorer and rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="129066" first="Avery" last="Hanson"] is back following her breakout sophomore campaign. Hanson averaged 12 points and over six boards a night, shooting 42 percent from the field. [player_tooltip player_id="163329" first="Lauren" last="Meader"] is another returning starter along with regulars Morgyn Anderson and Alana Johnson.

After going through the first losing season in several years in 2018-19, Harlan bounced back to win 13 games last winter. The Cyclones gave Glenwood everything it could handle in a regional semifinal before coming up short. Claire Schmitz, [player_tooltip player_id="131228" first="Macie" last="Leinen"] and Ashley Hall are all back to lead the team once again. Schmitz scored 221 points to pace the Cyclones as a sophomore, with Leinen the top rebounder with 179 and Hall the leader in assists with 105. All 13 players who were on the varsity roster a year ago are slated to return.
