Uncommitted 2021s: Forsyth County

Forsyth County certainly has some good athletes that can play at the next level. Here are some from the class of 2021 that are still available for college coaches. She remains calm under pressure, but she knows how to speed up her body to make effective moves whether it is on offense or defense. She can make shots from beyond the arc or drive it all the way to the hoop. She has no fear of incoming contact against her shot, and she makes some great moves with the ball in order to make the score despite opponents trying to block her path. Her ability to run with the ball from end to end blowing by her opponents is certainly hard to defend. She isn’t only a scorer, though, as she knows how to make great passes into her teammates to get everyone involved. [player_tooltip player_id="217529" first="Jadyn" last="Hoover"] | East Forsyth Hoover is a sneaky guard that uses her quickness to pick the pocket of defenders grabbing steals that quickly turn into fast breaks. She is speedy with the ball using decisive moves to throw off her defenders. She is very smart with her passes knowing exactly how to move her body in order to make the most efficient pass to her teammates. Her vision of the court is constantly on display with the way she knows exactly what to do as the floor general in order to create a successful offensive possession for her team. She can certainly score herself from all over the court, and she isn’t afraid to drive the ball all the way to the basket even through contact. Destiny Long | East Forsyth Long is a player that can effectively play most positions on the court and can certainly guard all positions that she has to. She can post up underneath the basket making smart moves to score. She can also steal the ball and push it up the court herself making some transition points, or you can see her being one of the first players back to catch a fast break pass for some points. Her ability to handle the ball makes her a threat no matter where she is. Her length makes her an effective shot blocker, too. Long has no fear of contact, and she is strong when drawing a charge against her opponents. Karleigh N’diaye | East Forsyth N’diaye is a fun player to watch with her ability to move well with the ball creating space between her and her defender. She can make post moves underneath the basket or jump shots from all over. She is constantly ready to shoot and seems to know exactly where she needs to move to score. She never gives up on a play making defenders constantly be right on her even if they think the play is breaking down. N’diaye can make smart and effective cuts to score on offense, and she knows how to jump into passing lanes on defense grabbing steals that turn into fast break points. [player_tooltip player_id="217515" first="Alana" last="Gary"] | West Forsyth Gary is a versatile player who seems to be able to play all five positions on the court. She can handle the ball well, and drive to the basket through contact. She uses her length to jump into passing lanes and push the ball up the court for some fast break points. Additionally, she can use her length to post up underneath the basket where she has a handful of different moves that she can use to score. If you don’t think she is versatile enough, she also has a great shot from downtown. Opponents need to figure out how to get her away from the basket honestly as she can grab plenty of rebounds as well using those for second chance points or as a way to end the possession for the other team.
