<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;">Thoughts on the League</span></strong>
Indian Hill are the defending champions of the conference, finishing unbeaten in league play last season. They lost the conference Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id="89254" first="Maddie" last="Antenucci"] to college, but returns [player_tooltip player_id="92517" first="Ella" last="Riggs"], who was just as dangerous last season. The 5-7 junior will be joined in the lineup by 5-9 junior Annie Isphording, who had some big games last season for the Braves. After those two, senior Jadyn James returns for her senior season as does Kennedy Green. Both were role players last season but contributed at times during the season.
Mariemont has always been traditionally solid but lost two key seniors last season. Their top returning player was only a freshman last season, but Kendal Spreen looks to be a talent that coaches will have to keep an eye on. Junior Amy Mueller is a 5-8 guard who also returns and senior Anazia Robertson was key last season.
With the loss of [player_tooltip player_id="92533" first="Nia" last="Kemper"], who transferred to Loveland this season, Meredith Bornholdt is a 6-0 senior who provides leadership for Wyoming and is solid on the boards with nearly a double-double last season. Senior Natalie Storm is a forward who also can contribute, most effective around the rim.
Taylor competed last season with 17 wins, but lost their top player to graduation. They return senior forward Julia Goosing, a long 6-1 kid with a good knack for the ball, can rebound well and looks to be a bigger offensive leader. Morgan Finley is a 5-5 senior guard who distributes the ball very well and is a good leader from the guard spot. Also back is senior guard Katie O’Brien another guard who looks to score, has good range and is not afraid to mix it up in the paint.
