Kayla is a long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic guard prospect. I’ve always enjoyed her versatility, her motor, and her willingness to do a lot of the “little things” that help her teams win games. She can knock down an open rhythm jumper outside, but I almost feel like she’s better gliding to the basket. Kayla has also shown some ball skill and the ability to initiate the offense, but I think she’ll be more of a ‘2’ at the next level. Defensively, she works hard, uses her length and athleticism, and she shows some versatility at that end.
