Medlin did everything she could to fit that phrase in her team’s contest against Dorman. She led her squad scoring-wise with a nine-point effort. Medlin paced the Greenville offense as a point-runner and managed create additional possessions for her team via her defense. Medlin is quick and aggressive whenever she has the ball in her hands and is willing to absorb contact that can place her at the free throw line. On many occasions, she will also display her length by keeping her arms outstretched on the defensive end of the floor.

Medlin really stuffed the stat sheet last season for the Lady Red Raiders. Kylee averaged 8.6 ppg, 6.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3 steals last season. Medlin brings good versatility to the floor and does a great job of rebounding the ball from her position. Will the Lady Red Raiders improve on a tough (9-14) season from a year ago?

Medlin first started wearing Greenville‘s red and black colors two seasons ago as an eighth grader. She returned for more in 2021-22 and was part of the Red Raiders once again qualifying for that season’s playoffs. Medlin is a skilled distributor of the ball at 5-foot-4 and it is complimented by her ability to haul in rebounds. She will also put plenty of points on the board and will take advantage of an opposing ball handler’s miscue. Getting out in transition is another strength of Medlin’s game. She took a huge leap forward from her eighth grade season to what she did as a freshman and one can expect she will take yet another in 2022-23.
