Below is a list of prospects who have had impressive performances in the Class of 2023.
Hailey Coss | Winter | 5’8 G
In the first fifteen games this season, Coss has led her team offensively and put up consistent and impressive numbers. She is averaging 18 points per game and has been lethal from mid-range and the perimeter. A defensive standout as well, Coss is quick and feisty on the court. She has great footwork and ability to cause damage on both ends of the floor. In a victory over Birchwood, Coss led her team with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals.
Ellie Magestro-Kennedy | Janesville Craig | 5’7 G
The sophomore led her team in a win over Monona Grove with 23 points. The potential is sky high for her, there isn’t much downside to her. She can shoot the ball, dribble, facilitate and create. She can slash in the lane at any moment and maintains a very high paced tempo the entire length of the game. The sophomore entered the game averaging just over 13 points per game.
Kyla Hendricks | Bay Port | 5’7 G
Hendricks has a phenomenal shot from outside the arc and knows just went to take it. She has made over 35 three-point baskets in the first 14 games of play. She’s lethal off the pass and creates well for herself within the offense. On a team like Bay Port, Hendricks has learned how to be very disciplined on both ends of the floor while still being creative and finding a way to get buckets. In a victory over Manitowoc Lincoln the sophomore led her team with 15.
Meghan Schultz Meghan Schultz 6'4" | C New Berlin West | 2023 State WI | New Berlin West | 6’3 F
Schultz had an incredible performance this season and is continuing to show glimpses of how elite she can be on both ends of the court. She’s a dominant post player who can step outside and knock it from mid range as well. When she is in the lane, she simply intimidates opponents by her length. She runs the floor well and can finish in transition play. In a win over Lake Country Lutheran, Schultz finished with a game high 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Lizzie Steingraber Lizzie Steingraber 5'10" | SF New London | 2023 State WI | New London | 5’10 G
Steingraber has length and athleticism that is elite for her team and will be ready for the next level. She’s incredibly versatile on the floor and has proven she can make an impact at all three levels. She has a quick release and a smooth stroke from beyond the arc. She can create a game for herself off the dribble and doesn’t shy away from attacking against taller prospects in the lane. In a win over Shawano, the sophomore led her team with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Kya Viegut | Colby | 5’7 G
The Colby standout moves well with the ball and can handle it under high pressure. She has an extremely relaxed feel for the game and it shows through her pace and confidence on the floor. She doesn’t force much and contributes by doing all the little things right for this team. She gets her teammates involved and is a standout defender. In a victory over Loyal, Viegut finished with 11 points for her team.
Taylor Anderson | Turtle Lake | 5’8 G
Anderson is impressive as she’s proven she is extremely dynamic on the floor. She’s strong enough to play in the post on both ends of the floor. She has the footwork and agility to play post defense against opponents who are much larger than her. Offensively she’s able to step out and hit the perimeter shot and attack effectively going downhill. In a victory over Clayton, Anderson finished with 16 points for her team.
