2022 Rankings Update – Top 10 Post Players

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan updated it’s class of 2022 prospect rankings. It’s a talented group with a ton of high level post talent. There are a wide variety of skill sets among the 4’s and 5’s as well. We’ll look at the top 10 ranked post players in the junior class. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147717" first="Madisen" last="Wardell"] (PF, Detroit Edison)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #7 I hate to slot Wardell into a position, but I do it out of necessity. She can do it all and is an absolute nightmare for opposing coaches to match up against. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147719" first="Alecsis" last="Smith"] (C, Bay City Central)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #9 Smith is a beast in the paint. She’s one of the most physically intimidating post players that the state has to offer. Smith will average a double-double.....easily. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147723" first="Sarah" last="Sylvester"] (PF, Birmingham Marian) </strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #13 Sylvester is an incredibly well rounded athlete. She uses outstanding footwork on both ends of the floor. Sylvester does most of her damage facing the bucket and extending the defense. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="227296" first="Zoe" last="Spoelman"] (PF, Grand Haven)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #22 Spoelman is full of high level potential. I could see her playing Division 1 college basketball someday. She moves well horizontally and can also get out in transition. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147746" first="Lauren" last="Sollom"] (PF, Hartland)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #26 Sollom is such a tough matchup. She has a very impressive combination of outside-in and inside-out abilities. Sollom reads her defender and attacks in the best way possible. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147748" first="Hannah" last="Toutant"] (C, Macomb Dakota)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #27 I’ve always been very high on Toutant as a player and her long term potential. She’s a long defender that can be a game changer on that end. Toutant is perfectly comfortable in a physical game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147734" first="Kendal" last="Zeiter"] (PF, Troy)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #28 Zeiter is a top 15 talent hiding out at 28. She can absolutely control a game offensively. Zeiter is a versatile scorer that can work with her back to the basket as well as step out and bury a triple. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147733" first="Sydney" last="Vis"] (PF, South Christian)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #29 You have to really watch Vis to appreciate all that she has to offer as a player. She’s as steady as they come in the paint and will provide key buckets and clutch rebounds. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147738" first="Evie" last="Doezema"] (C, Grand Rapids Christian)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #35 Doezema is one of the best rebounders in the state of Michigan. She seems to have a nose for the ball when it comes off the rim. I wouldn’t be surprised if she averages double figure rebounds. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147740" first="Alexis" last="Clark"] (PF, Ann Arbor Pioneer)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #39 Clark being ranked at 39 is a testament to the depth of talent that this class offers. She’s a top 20 tye talent. Clark offers an excellent mix of power and touch.
