Abercrombie was the Class 4A State Player of the Year last season. She averaged 21.8 ppg, 14 rebounds and 4 steals for the Lady Generals last year. Quinasia enters her senior season with 1,101 career points.

Abercrombie plays the game to the fullest at all times. She excels in the transition game while scoring the rock at the rim. Quinasia plays active on both ends of the court especially when it comes to attacking the cup. She will play quite aggressively on the defensive end of the court which leads to steals going the other direction.

Abercrombie picked up a offer this past summer from South Carolina State University. Quinasia comes into her senior season with 814 career rebounds.

Abercrombie is the Class 4A State Player of the Year from last season at Wade Hampton HS in Greenville. She ran with a local Grassroots squad in the SC Lady Sixers . Quinasia excels in getting the ball to the bucket. She really likes to play the downhill game along with excelling in transition.

Abercrombie NEVER takes a play-off while on the floor and brings great athleticism to the table. She still must develop some more perimeter skills down the road. Quinasia picked up an offer this summer from South Carolina State University. Abercrombie can explode in bunches when it comes to scoring the ball.

Abercrombie has really made strides this past season and into the spring with her play. Quinasia was named the Class 4A Player of the Year this past season for her play at Wade Hampton HS in the Upstate. She has continued her efforts on the Grassroots Circuit this spring.

She’s extremely athletic and really plays her whole game on getting to the basket and just be extremely ACTIVE at all times on the floor. Quinasia plays every play like it’s her last one – she will jump on the floor for a loose 50/50 ball every time without hesitation. Abercrombie has a offer from South Carolina State University already from this spring.

The Lady Generals did not participate in the SCBCA #SCLive in Rock Hill a few weeks back.

Abercrombie and a slow start on Friday night in the opener for the Lady Sixers. Quinasia fouled out early at the 11:20 mark in the first game with just 6 points.

She surely came to play on Day 2 with performances of  20, 29 and 38 point games. Quinasia is best while playing the game in attack mode and getting to the bucket. She has good athleticism to get by defenders in the open court and score the ball in transition.  Abercrombie plays the game so aggressively and literally never lets up in performance. She rebounds the ball on both ends of the floor and does an exceptional job of rebounding it outside of her area.

Abercrombie was the Class 4A State Player of the Year this past season for the Lady Generals.

Abercrombie continued her hot play into the LBI Opening this past weekend. Quinasia was named Class 4A State Player of the Year this past season for the Lady Generals. She plays her best basketball in transition trying to get to the basket. Abercrombie won’t hesitate one second at all when it comes to jumping on the floor. She rarely to never leaves the floor for the SC Lady Sixers.

She is TOUGH as a truck at times with her play. She surely leaves it all out on the floor – with her constant HUSTLE, desire and a few bruises along the way today.

Abercrombie and the SC Lady Sixers will be playing this weekend in the Prep Girls Hoops Triumph Region Kickoff at the Upward Star Center in Spartanburg.

Games start at 7:00 P.M. on Friday and backup at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday morning.

Abercrombie has been a scoring machine all season long for the Lady Generals in the Upstate. She has compiled 10 double-doubles along the way this season. Quinasia excels in the transition game and getting out and collecting some easy baskets heading the other way. Abercrombie has the ability to pile up numbers in a hurry for the Lady Generals. She feels very comfortable dropping perimeter jumpers or short mid-range jumpers off the bounce.

Abercrombie did plenty of Abercrombie things when her Generals matched up against 1A Christ Church. She scored 16 points and may have put even more on the board if it were not for Wade Hampton having built such a lead that it enabled the team’s starters to rest for much of the second half. As impressive as her scoring and rebounding is, she arguably can be even difficult to contend with on defense. Abercrombie can follow where the ball is when the opposing team has possession and looks to make things difficult for that opposing ball handler which can make her turnover-prone.

Abercrombie did plenty of Abercrombie things when the 4A Generals took on Berea in the final game of Friday’s slate at Carolina HS. Because the score was so lopsided, she managed to garner plenty of rest in the second half of the matchup, but in the first half she displayed her assertiveness on both sides of the floor. Defensively, she made things difficult for who she was guarding and seemed to be one step of opposing offenses. Abercrombie scored often and had no issues absorbing contact to get to the free throw line. She also knew when the right times were to score and to distribute. She finished with 14 points in what was an emphatic Generals win over the Bulldogs. Abercrombie’s Generals finished as runners-up in the North Bracket.

(*PGH Preseason Player of the Year*)rnIf teams are going to earn victories over the Generals, keeping this multi-talented veteran star has to be tops on any coach’s list. She has also participated in volleyball throughout her athletic career in addition to her AAU exploits with SC Lady Sixers 17U. She is a versatile combo guard who may be listed as a small forward but can easily be mistaken for a one or two with her ball handling capabilities. Abercrombie has a lot of scoring prowess with a mid-range jumper and plays primarily at an up-tempo pace. She understands how to get to the rim through a sea defenders and can take a game over as a bucket-getter.
