Schools in the County: Berea HS, Blue Ridge HS, Brashier Middle College, Carolina HS, Christ Church, Eastside HS, Fountain Inn HS, Greenville HS, Greer HS, Hillcrest HS, JL Mann HS, Mauldin HS, Riverside HS, Southside HS, Southside Christian, St Joseph’s, Travelers Rest HS, Wade Hampton HS and Woodmont HS
Berea HS – The Lady Bulldogs had a rough season last year finishing (0-24).
Blue Ridge HS – The Lady Blue Tigers will rely onand this season for Head Coach Alex Smith. Zikira will play next season at Brevard College in North Carolina.
Brashier Middle College (Simpsonville) – The Lady Bengals finished (9-13) a season ago.
Carolina HS and Academy (Greenville) – The Lady Trojans finished (5-18) a season ago. They will look to rely on some young talent on the roster this season.
Christ Church – The Lady Cavaliers finished (11-14) last season. Senior guardaveraged 17.1 ppg last year. She already has given a early pledge to Lenoir Rhyne (NC) (NCAA D2) after her high school career.
Eastside HS – The Lady Eagles will have some young talent in the years to come.a freshman made the move over from St Joseph’s where she averaged 15.1 ppg, 5 rebounds and 3.3 assists a season ago. a freshman wing and an 8th grader will see plenty of action this season for Head Coach Nikki Young.
Fountain Inn HS – The Fury finished (14-13) a season ago. Aubrey Garrison, Aniya Brown and freshman forward Chaniya Jackson all look to be back for this young squad in the Upstate.
Greenville HS – The Lady Red Raiders have Southside HS Transferin the mix this season. She will join forces with and on this Red Raiders roster. Gaston brings good production from the perimeter with her ability to make shots. Briggs brings versatility on the floor and a willingness to work all over the floor.
Greer HS – The Lady Yellow Jackets have a lot of talent on the roster this season.a senior guard is back after averaging 17.2 ppg, 5.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.9 steals a season ago. She currently has 882 career points entering her senior season.
will provide production around the cup and inside the paint area. She averaged 8.6 ppg and 7.5 rebounds last season. is back for her junior season after averaging 11.2 ppg last season. The Lady Yellow Jackets finished (18-9) a season ago.
Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville) – The Lady Rams finished just (2-15) a season ago. Things can only go up from here.
JL Mann HS – The Lady Patriots added several new faces this past off season.a left-handed post player is back in the Palmetto State after playing at Quality Education Academy (NC) a season ago. has piled up some numbers over the past few years a Calhoun Falls Charter. Freshman guard makes her move to the Lady Patriots after playing last season at Legacy Early College.
Senior guardwill provide some team leadership from the backcourt. 7.5 ppg and 11 ppg and 10 rebounds provide good production to this Lady Patriots roster this season. Look for this program to make some improvements in the win column this season.
Mauldin HS – The Lady Mavericks won the Class 5A State Championship a season ago. The pieces look to be in place again this season to make another deep run into the playoffs. Junioris just one of the several returners back on this talented roster. and will help anchor the front court this season. brings great versatility to the floor for the Lady Mavericks.
Freshman forwardand will see plenty of minutes this season. The talent is here for this program to make another trip to March in Florence this season.
Riverside HS – The Lady Warriors finished (20-7) and runner up to Wade Hampton HS in the region. Sophomore guardaveraged 17.8 ppg last season while connecting on 40% (83-209) from downtown. a senior guard averaged 6.8 ppg and will provide some minutes from the backcourt this season.
is back in the post to provide production around the bucket. She averaged 10.7 ppg and 6.8 rebounds a season ago. a left-handed post player showed some really good flashes this past summer on the Grassroots Circuit. She and will provide some help around the paint area this season.
Southside HS (Greenville) – The Lady Tigers finished (27-4) last season under Head Coach Milton Parks. Several players have moved onto college including Kamari Thompson, Lauren Wearbon and Kamya Hatten. Who will step up this season for the Black and Orange?
Southside Christian (Simpsonville) – The Lady Sabres finished (9-8) a season ago.a sophomore provides some good production around the paint area for the Simpsonville based school.
St Joseph’s – The Lady Knights lostto Eastside HS. The Lady Knights finished (15-10) a season ago. will have to step up her game after averaging 9.8 ppg a season ago.
Travelers Rest HS – The Devildogs were (11-13) a season ago. Gabriella Huskey a senior combo guard averaged 10.8 ppg last season.returns to the fold after averaging 9.2 ppg and 6.3 rebounds a season ago.
Wade Hampton HS – The Lady Generals won the region a season ago and finished (20-6) overall.is back for her senior season after winning the Class 4A State Player of the Year. She averaged 21.8 ppg, 14 rebounds and 4 steals a season ago. Abercrombie enters her senior season with 1,101 career points and 814 rebounds.
a sophomore provides some solid shooting from the perimeter for the Lady Generals. The left-handed guard can really knockdown the 3-ball when given the opportunity. will be another name to keep an eye on from here for the Lady Generals.
Woodmont HS – The Lady wildcats finished (20-7) a season ago. Senior forwardanchors the front line after averaging 11.3 ppg and 8.1 rebounds a season ago. and sophomore will provide plenty of help on the glass and inside the paint this season. and junior Gabriel Stewart will anchor down the backcourt. Can the Lady Wildcats make a run this season in the playoffs?
