Naima stands at 6’5″ and is very dominate down low in the paint. She is a match-up nightmare for any opposing teams. She is patient down low with the ball in her hands and plays off 2 feet when finishing. Defensively, she locked down the entire paint. She is hard to finish over and through, given her size. She should attract many more high level coaches during next season.

Naima is such an intriguing prospect. She will likely play at the Division 1 or 2 level and her stock will rise quite a bit when the season starts. Her role will be increased next year and she will take advantage of that. Her ability to defend the basket and paint at a high level is what sets her apart from others. She’s a top 30 player in the 2024 class.

Naima and Garfeild HS are coming off a state championship win last season after beating a tough Lake Washington team by 1 point in the title game. Naima, in my eyes, is one of the top 2024 players in the class. Standing at 6’5″, there aren’t many players within the state who can match up against her. She uses her body well down low, being able to grab rebounds with ease. She finishes through contact quite a bit, given that most girls aren’t her height and foul her a lot. She’s is going to have a big junior season as her and her teammates go for back to back state title wins.
