She has decent size and good strength to play in the paint. She is a grab and go type rebounder. She plays hard and makes things happen. From WL to #30. Maya moved up in the rankings and out of Mountlake Terrace. She transferred to Garfield for the upcoming season. She will be a huge factor in their run for a 4th straight state title. She excels as a downhill player and gets to the basket with her strength and some added creativity. She is a tough guard/forward who can get buckets from anywhere. Her style of play brings both the toughness and a strong overall skill-set. Garfield is loaded with good players but Maya should be locked in as a starter with intangibles that every team needs.
