<strong>Florida Roundup: News Around Florida Volume 13</strong>

<em>Travel ball season is in full effect and a number of 2021s have been coming off the board to play next season at the collegiate level. Let’s take a look around Florida on what has been going on in the last couple weeks. </em>
<img class=" wp-image-295902 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/Tavi-VC-IMG_6567-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="143" height="142" /><img class=" wp-image-295903 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/Jaliyah-VC-IMG_6681-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="137" height="136" />Indian River has picked up two of the state’s top unsigned Senior prospects. <strong>Tavi Habib</strong> (Armwood HS) and <strong>Jaliyah Flowers</strong> (Cocoa HS). <strong>Habib</strong> averaged a double-double (21.2 points and 10.9 rebounds) and helped lead Armwood to a 10-5 record before falling to Winter Haven in the post season. <strong>Flowers</strong> is a versatile perimeter player that can play multiple positions. She averaged 10.7 points per game helping Cocoa HS to a 13-5 record.
<strong><img class="wp-image-295901 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/Jasmine-Peaks-WH-e1623185109101-168x300.jpg" alt="" width="108" height="193" />[player_tooltip player_id="244135" first="Jaida" last="Young"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91519" first="Jasmine" last="Peaks"]</strong> were part of the talented Winter Haven HS Lady Blue Devils squad that finished 18-2 on the season. Young, a 5’5 Guard is headed to Alcorn State University while 5’8 Guard Peaks is headed to Texas to suit up for Junior College powerhouse Odessa College.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91527" first="Jaici" last="Hastings"]</strong> (Hollywood Hills) has signed to stay local and play at St Thomas University. The 5’9 guard had her Senior season shortened due to COVID restrictions and only played 6 games. She is a long, athletic combo guard that can score off the dribble and from deep outside.
<strong><img class=" wp-image-295898 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/Isabella-Reynolds-4-2019-MD-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="139" height="208" />[player_tooltip player_id="91515" first="Isabella" last="Reynolds"] </strong>(Archbishop McCarthy) led the Mavericks in scoring (14.7 PPG) and finished second on the team in rebounding (7.4 RPG). The 5’10 wing is a natural scorer who has a college ready body. She does an excellent job finishing at the rim using her size and strength to her advantage. Reynolds is headed to Gainesville and will suit it up for Santa Fe College.
5’2 Senior Guard <strong>Moriah Sanchez</strong> (St. Cloud HS) is headed to play for the CIU Rams. She was St. Cloud’s floor leader this past season running the point guard position while averaging 7.5 points and 3.6 assists per game.
<strong> </strong>5’6 Guard <strong>Grace Beyer</strong> (Nease HS) has signed and will attend Valdosta State University.
<strong><img class=" wp-image-295899 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/Deborrah-Redmon-PBL-241x300.jpg" alt="" width="153" height="190" />Deborrah Redmon-Seitu</strong> (Palm Beach Lakes) has signed to attend Pensacola State College. She averaged 12.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. The 5’8 guard was one of South Florida’s top players this season helping Palm Beach Lakes to a 12-2 record before falling to Miami Senior High School. She is a big, strong, athletic guard that can play 1-3.
5’10 Guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244184" first="Dasanni" last="Williamson"]</strong> was a big part of Dunbar HS sensational 2020-21 season helping them to a 23-1 record before falling to <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91479" first="O’Mariah" last="Gordon"]</strong> and Braden River in the playoffs. Williamson is headed to Florida Memorial University after averaging 9.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
