Lots of rising seniors will be looking to make a really strong “final” impression with college coaches. Below are some of the players that have a strong opportunity to improve their college recruitment and/or ranking.
Libby Stump Libby Stump 5'7" | CG Lynden Christian | 2022 State WA (Tree of Hope – Lynden Christian HS)
The 5’7 guard is a high IQ basketball player that can shoot the three ball at a high level. Stump will be newer on the scene and playing her first year with Tree of Hope’s 17u squad. A strong Summer could really open up her recruitment heading into her senior year.
Savea Mansfield Savea Mansfield 5'9" | SG Washougal | 2022 State WA (ABA – Washougal HS)
Standing about 5’9 and able to play multiple positions, Mansfield has been a consistent performer for Washougal High School over the years and playing well for the ABA club program. Mansfield can dribble, pass, shoot and defend pretty well. Her versatility should help her garner more attention for the next level.
Gabby Stuart Gabby Stuart 5'10" | SG Seattle Prep | 2022 State WA (Columbia Cascades – Seattle Prep)
Fresh of a strong Spring with Seattle Prep and helping her high school to a Metro League title, Stuart is primed for a strong Summer with the Columbia Cascades club program. Stuart is strong, aggressive and growing in her confidence to score the ball at a high level. She put up multiple 20 plus point performances against top Metro teams. If she can keep this momentum rolling into the Summer, Stuart will see herself having some college options.
Alyson Deaver Alyson Deaver 6'0" | PF Sumner | 2022 State WA (Tree of Hope – Sumner HS)
The 6’0 forward missed basically all of her first three high school basketball seasons, but she is looking to be back stronger than ever after helping Sumner to a good high school basketball season. A double-double threat that plays with great confidence and mixture of physicality and finesse. This will be Deaver’s first chance to play in front of college coaches and some strong play can really put her name on the scene.
