Her knack for finding the ball more than everyone else is gaining traction. Her anticipation skills go well with her length and movement. A guard with good size and consistently rebounds and finds 50/50 balls. Played with such speed and pace at the Summer Classic. I predict she has a breakout year for Fargo Davies.
Miriley Simon Miriley Simon 6'1" | C West Fargo | 2023 State ND – 6’1 C 2023 – West Fargo – Eastern Dakota Elite – Miriley was able to her normal stuff she does in the regular season for West Fargo, scoring inside and hitting mid-range jumpers. She’s so smooth with the ball yet plays with such power and strength inside. Will O-board and put it back up for two quite frequently. Has a surprising handle on the ball and can drive and kick to shooters from the top. Offers from Mary, Northern State, and MSU-Moorhead.
Chloe Pfau Chloe Pfau 5'11" | SG West Fargo | 2023 State ND – 5’11 SG 2023 – West Fargo – Eastern Dakota Elite – Chloe is a legitimate high-end prospect. D2 offers are already there and D1 offers wouldn’t be a shock to me at all. Finds ways to score easy buckets and is constantly producing plays throughout an entirety of a game. She proved to be the go-to scorer late in the season for West Fargo. Not much of an update here on Chloe, other than she’s able to make the same plays against top competition and thrive against it as well. Played point guard and looked comfortable there as well. Gave great effort on both ends, flying around defensively out to shooters to contest threes.
Allison Undlin Allison Undlin 6'4" | C Mohalll-Lansford Sherwood | 2023 State ND – 6’2 C 2023 – Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood – ND Attack 16U – Allison was the go-to player for ND Attack 16U. She made a positive impact for the Attack in many ways. What allowed her to get many inside touches and buckets was her willingness and ability to run the floor at a consistent rate. This did a lot for her and her team. She ran from rim to rim to score and to protect the paint on the defensive side. She was blocking and altering shots with her size, length, and timing. She posted hard and was fighting for positioning. High-pointed the ball very well with her long arms.
Ellie Powell Ellie Powell 5'11" | PF Bowman County | 2023 State ND – 5’11 PF 2023 – Bowman – ND Attack 16U – I was thoroughly impressed with Ellie and she’s a stock-riser in relation to her current 2023 ranking. She was active all around and showed she can hit a three-ball. Shows a solid handle on the drive and has decent first-step quickness —especially for being a 5’11 prospect. Has a solid build and moves fairly well. An alert defender, knowing ball and man, and staying in great on-ball and off-ball help defense.
Ellie Braaten Ellie Braaten 5'3" | PG Westhope-Newburg | 2023 State ND – 5’3 PG 2023 – Westhope-Newburg – ND Attack 16U – Ellie has elite quickness and speed on the court, and it is evident even against the top competition in the region. She has another top-end gear that many prospects don’t possess. If she’s beat down the court, she can quickly gain ground. Showed good handles and the ability to slow and run an offense as well. Has exceptional court vision and ability to enter the ball into the post.
