The Cedar Rapids-Prairie Hawks this season set a solid foundation for years to come with their addition of a new head coach and new offensive system, accompanied with handfuls of young talent at all positions. Throughout the mix of all this young talent and skill, this team needed a veteran presence on the floor and that came in the form of McKenna Murray McKenna Murray 6'0" | PF Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2024 State IA . This is a player that possesses good size and skill for her age with a nice ceiling when looking at the long term. She has a nice feel for the ball while being able to do a number of things on the floor to help her team be successful. Not to mention that she has a high motor and a lot of heart. She leaves everything on the floor and plays each possession like it’s her last. This AAU season she will be with Lady Martin Bros once again on the UA circuit, a team that has a lot of talent across the board when looking at their overall roster. She will look to show off her versatility and complete game amongst a high-level of competition. Something I can’t wait to see.
