Expert Analysis
Haleigh Behnken | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Lindsee is a double-double monster who can knock them down from midrange to the three-point line in addition to scoring at the rim with a very good drop-step move on the low block. She can get the job done offensively with great body control and composure. She uses her length to collect any rebound in sight, and she is quite effective on the glass. She makes a difference on defense with her long arms to pull down second chance buckets. She’s moving up from number 87 to number 40.

It quickly became clear at the Saginaw Valley Elite Camp that Williams was one of the top prospects. She received an offer from Coach Pruett after showcasing her dominance in the paint on both ends of the floor and displaying excellent footwork around the rim. I was also impressed by her passing abilities, especially when she found open shooters while being double-teamed. SVSU college players coached the 5×5 teams, and when asked by their coach, she was selected as a top performer.

Lindsee Williams dominated inside for Always 100 Elite 3SSB at the Battle in the Mitten on Sunday. She was a rebounding machine using her size and strength to gain the advantage for put backs in the paint. Lindsee blocked multiple shots inside and sealed with excellent positioning to catch entry passes from her guards. She knocked down a shot from the elbow with a balanced high release and is an outstanding power forward prospect for coaches to recruit at the next level.

She is effective at moving the ball during breaks and transitions, but she particularly shines when she calls for the ball and attempts to score near to the rim. She can play aggressively when she gets to the line and has a great touch from the charity stripe. Strong post player with great talent all around. She goes from the watchlist to number 60 in the rankings.

Although you can’t make someone 6’3″, you can help her become a strong post player, and it appears that she is doing so. She moves the ball well in transition and during the break, but one thing she excels at is calling for the ball and attempting to score close to the basket. She has a terrific touch from the charity stripe and can play physically when she gets to the line. If she keeps practicing and developing over the next two years, I think her game will keep getting better.
