Reanna Farrington Reanna Farrington 5'8" | CG Hamilton | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-eight guard for Hamilton High School in Chandler. She also plays for her club team, Arizona Swish. The Huskies finished 18-2 this past season but lost in the state championship game to Valley Vista High School. Reanna, as a freshman, averaged 4.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Her older sister, Raegan, played on the team, just graduated, and made second-team All-Region. Playing for Head Coach Trevor Neider, Reanna has a weighted GPA of 3.87 and made Honorable Mention to the Sports360AZ All-Academic Girls Basketball Team for 4A to 6A.
Reanna is improving each season and possesses a strong work ethic. The Huskies will be loaded for 2021-2022 where the junior varsity girls team finished 15-0 and the freshman/sophomore team was 10-2. Entering her sophomore year, she is looking for a breakout season.
Abigail Dean Abigail Dean 5'6" | CG Pinnacle | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-six guard for Boulder Creek High School. She also plays for her grassroots team, West Coast Elite. She led the Lady Jaguars in scoring as a freshman, averaging 9.6 points per game. In her first game against Liberty, Abby had 29 points on five of seven from behind the arc and shot 12-17 for the game. She made second-team All-Region in the 6A Desert Conference. She also had a busy spring and summer with WCE as her team won the G365 Club Championship in California.
One scout referred to Abby as a “high motor kid, an elite defender that improves every weekend. She also has a 3.8 GPA.” Another scout had this to say about her game. “She is a tough, gritty guard with a high skill level. She shoots the ball well and her defense is outstanding. She is the highest riser since the summer leagues began. Abby plays with a lot of purpose and intent. She also has a tremendous work ethic.” She is considered one of the state’s top players for the class of 2024.
Madison Reibel Madison Reibel 5'6" | CG Canyon View | 2024 CO is a five-foot-five shooting guard for Canyon View High School. She also plays for her grassroots team, GiveNGo.Canyon View finished 9-5 last year and 4-4 in their division. As a freshman, Madison averaged 11.8 points per game along with 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game. CV lost to Flowing Wells in last March’s state tournament, 59-45. Madison was selected as Player of the Game in two separate contests in February and March last winter by Max Preps.
Madison played well during the spring and summer tournaments including the AZGR Invitational. She also qualified for Honorable Mention for the Sports 360AS All-Academic Girls Basketball Team with a 3.8 GPA. One scout commented on her play. ” She is one of the better on the ball defenders and understands how to help and recover well. Her basketball knowledge is rather advanced and her feel for the game will stand out a she looks to help build a basketball tradition at CVHS, She should be ready for an outstanding sophomore year.
Sierra Bomhower Sierra Bomhower 5'10" | SF Cibola | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-eight guard for Cibola High School in Yuma. She also plays for her grassroots team, GBL Venom. Last season the Lady Raiders finished 13-4 and 5-0 in Region 6A Southwest. Cibola lost to Hamilton High School in last March’s state tournament. Sierra averaged 12.4 points per game as a freshman along with 3.4 rebounds and 2.65 steals. She also shot 48% from beyond the three-point arc. She was awarded Player of the Game six different times in February and March by Max Preps and made first-team All-Region 6A Southwest.
One scout commented on her game. “She has improved by leaps and bounds. Her jumper is pure and she has a high ceiling due to her length and deceptive athleticism. She is a definite sleeper and getting better with every event. Sierra should become, down the line, one of the highest-ranked players from Yuma in quite a while.” In addition to a great work ethic, she maintains a 4.0 GPA and is a member of both the Lady Raiders volleyball and track teams. 2021-2022 should be a breakout year for her.
