Running with High Impact at the event The Oak Park point guard showed strong speed and quickness on the drive. The play of her and her backcourt mates facilitated a great amount of space for her bigs to work in the paint. A big reason High Impact ran the table was defense against basket drives. The quickness of Ross and her teammates did not supply open gaps. And with the consistent interior and off-side help opponents could only sustain shot opportunities by making extra passes off the drive.

Ross ran the show for Oak Park tonight, doing an excellent job of facilitating and keeping her teammates involved. She consistently found her primary scorers and delivered the ball to them in spots where they could be most effective.
She also picked her moments to call her own number, scoring enough to keep the defense honest and prevent them from keying in solely on her teammates.
On the defensive end, Ross was outstanding. She pressured the ball relentlessly, forced turnovers, and made life difficult for opposing ball handlers with her constant energy and on-ball intensity.

. Ross has the ball on a string. She has a great handle, she understands timing and control of pace throughout a contest, and she doesn’t force unneeded action. Instead, she sets up her team for success a majority of the time. A lot to like about this one. Not sure who has college interest but she will definitely have some suitors out there before she graduates high school.

The 5’7″ Ross is one of the top young point guards in the Kansas City area. She is a very good two-way player who can excel as a scorer and a playmaker. She can shoot the ball from 3-point range and she also distributes the ball well. She is also very good in the open court in transition. She can also impact games on the defensive end with her anticipation to create turnovers and steals.
