<em><strong>Prep Girls Hoops Predictions: </strong></em>
Cane Bay HS - The Lady Cobras have a lot of talent to make a good run in the Lower State.
Stratford HS (Goose Creek) - The Knights could play spoiler this season under Head Coach Kelly McNeil.
Berkeley HS (Moncks Corner) - How far can <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171791" first="Peighton" last="Jambor"]</strong> carry the Lady Stags? Can the rest of the team provide support?
Wando HS (Mount Pleasant) - [player_tooltip player_id="124098" first="<strong>Dylan" last="Silber</strong>"] is out for the year with a injury. Can the Lady Warriors recover?
Goose Creek HS - NEVER count out a very young Lady Gators team - Growing pains early - but NEVER count them out.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="185227" first="Jasmine" last="Jenkins"] (2022) - Cane Bay HS - Prep Girls Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year (pictured on front)</strong>
Jenkins fits in well with the departure of [player_tooltip player_id="261916" first="<strong>Ryian" last="Howard</strong>"] to Northwood Academy. Jenkins a transfer from White Knoll HS averaged 18.6 ppg last season for the Lady Timberwolves. Jenkins starts her senior season with 798 career points.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124098" first="Dylan" last="Silber"] (2022) - Wando HS </strong>
Silber looks to be out for the year with an injury for the Lady Warriors. Big blow to the Lady Warriors roster.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="199238" first="Ravin" last="Griffin"] (2022) - Goose Creek HS </strong>
Griffin will be one of the two seniors on this roster for Head Coach Tim Baldwin. Griffin a left-handed guard averaged 11.7 ppg last season.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171770" first="Samiya" last="Grant"] (2022) - Goose Creek HS </strong>

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171773" first="Tatum" last="Carr"] (2022) - Cane Bay HS </strong>
Carr is an undersized post who brings a blue-collar mentality to the floor. Tatum will need to play her role this season for the Lady Cobras if they want to make a run to Aiken (that doesn’t sound quite right yet). Tatum averaged 6.2 ppg last year.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="185226" first="Alaina" last="Nettles"] (2023) - Cane Bay HS </strong>
Nettles and teammate [player_tooltip player_id="185227" first="<strong>Jasmine" last="Jenkins</strong>"] should provide a nice 1-2 punch here in the Lower State. Nettles averaged 13.7 ppg last season for the Lady Cobras.
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-355144" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/0925B619-8ABB-4A7A-B648-679F40C74FDB.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171791" first="Peighton" last="Jambor"] (2023) - Berkeley HS (Moncks Corner) </strong>
Jambor will need some help this season to make a run in the region. Peighton should collect a double-double each night for the Lady Stags. Jambor an athletic forward plays very well on both sides of the floor. Jambor averaged 14.9 ppg last season as a sophomore.
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-357570" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/4719077F-32FF-4D2F-AB6F-3FC0C32A966B.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="299566" first="Yasmine" last="Cook"] (2023) - Stratford HS (Goose Creek) </strong>
Cook brings good versatility to the perimeter for the Lady Knights. Yasmine has the ability to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. She will knockdown the short corner jumper, finish on the break in transition or grab a loose ball on the floor.
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-357572" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/77067971-D0CF-408C-9665-BF43D852DA66.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175385" first="Kaleyia" last="Brown"] (2023) - Stratford HS (Goose Creek) </strong>
Brown is a playmaking point guard for the Lady Knight. Kaleyia can get the ball into the paint and gaps while finding a open teammate. Brown is always looking to push the tempo up the floor. Brown and Cook will be the leaders of this Knights squad this coming season.
<strong>** [player_tooltip player_id="171792" first="Jyahni" last="Smith"]</strong> (2022) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="261916" first="Ryian" last="Howard"]</strong> (2023) both have left Region 7-AAAAA and transferred out.
