TKC Thanksgiving Tournament: 2024-2025

Prep Girls Hoops is always on the lookout for players coming up in the ranks. This past Sunday we made the trip down to Summerville to take in the TKC Thanksgiving Tournament. Let's take a look at some of the 2024-2025 ladies in the event being held at Summerville HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="357548" first="Shandi" last="Brown"] (2024) - Colleton County HS (Walterboro) (pictured on front)</strong> Brown came to play today and helped her teammates get a win in the 7th place contest of the TKC Thanksgiving Tournament. Shandi likes to play the game in attack mode all day long. Green was able to get to the rack while leaking out in transition or slashing to the cup. Shandi is a 4-sport athlete for the Lady Cougars including track, softball and volleyball. She finished with 18 points in the win over Burke HS. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-358795" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/E4C14017-FF4D-4129-9C4D-E5FE8486D37B.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="357547" first="Heaven" last="Green"] (2024) - Colleton County HS (Walterboro) </strong> Heaven was able to finish on some floaters around the paint along with some three pointers today. Green 5'4 used really good shot selection and was productive when she did release from her hands. Heaven scored 16 points in the win on Day 3 from the TKC Thanksgiving Tournament. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-358797" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/D579540A-9721-451B-82EC-55CB53AA0C05.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="357549" first="Elisia" last="Hamilton"] (2024) - Stratford HS (Goose Creek) </strong> Hamilton was a pleasant surprise today with her play on the boards. Elisia was a great spark off bench for the Lady Knights claiming 11 rebounds according to my stats. She played aggressive down on both ends of the floor while showing to have good footwork. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-358799" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/FF5BF8E3-7A1B-4EC2-85D0-5DB5159138B5.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="305504" first="Makayla" last="Weiters"] (2024) - Stall HS </strong> Weiters is one-step ahead of the game at times with her play. The Lady Warriors suffered a lost in the TKC Thanksgiving Tournament Championship Game to the host Summerville HS. Makayla looks to push the tempo up the floor and make plays. Weiters is the primary ball-handler for the Lady Warriors and at times scored the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-358800" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/544F3E06-51F4-42D9-B87A-87E28BC95903.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="324268" first="Jehmyah" last="Chisolm"] (2025) - Summerville HS </strong> Chisolm is a very well composed freshman for the Lady Green Wave. Jehmyah logged a lot of minutes in the win today. Chisolm was able to connect on open looks from the floor today while showing a nice shot release. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-358802" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/11/3137B651-351B-4816-8EE6-A9B23EBA7D78.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>Ciara Mustapher (2025) - Stratford HS (Goose Creek)</strong> Ciara came off the bench today for the Lady Knights. She plays off the ball and has good range out on the perimeter. Ciara was able to knockdown some three pointers today.
