Jade is such a tough and gritty PG. This is no surprise as the senior played under Head Coach Tolonda Simmons at West Cabarrus whose teams are no for their aggressiveness. Jade was able to show off her defense today, staying low and getting her hands out to deflect passes and cause turnovers. She did a good job battling for loose balls against opponents nearly twice her size, showing she is not afraid of contact. She is a solid ball handler as well, showing strong handles in traffic and finding teammates for open shots.

Jade Clowney has been showing her senior leadership handling the ball and pushing the tempo. She does a nice job driving hard to the hoop opening up the court for her teammates to grab the dish and score their own points. She can knock down her shot from deep, too, whether she pulls up off the dribble or makes it from a pass.
