Eye Catchers To Watch For Tourney Time- Div.1- Part 3

Kate's confidence, her offensive game improved, but her defense and intensity on the court is what catches my attention. Kate has brought this into her junior season. Love her leadership, ability to crash the boards, play strong defense, cover space with her length, and can shoot the ball! <strong>Madelyn Frank- G, 2022, Canal Winchester H.S.: </strong>When Franks' feet are set, she is deadly behind the three point arc! Great mechanics, follow through, and poise that she shows is strong. Help side defense leads to her ability to steal the ball, and create transition points for the team. Always looking to push the ball, and set her teammates up easy buckets. <strong>Lauren Wood- G, 5’9, 2022, New Albany H.S.: </strong>What a career this young lady has had for New Albany! Shooters shoot- and boy can she nail buckets from anywhere! I love her motor that can go strong all game- whether it be from the defensive end, or how she can cut, dribble penetrate, and use her quick feet/hands to pick pockets. <strong>Katie Kaucheck- G, 5’9, 2022, New Albany H.S.: </strong>Kaucheck is another weapon for New Albany that can shoot it deep from downtown! She can do it all- she just goes to work, and does whatever the team needs. And she's often in the right place, at the right time, for steals, which lead to quick and easy points. Love her aggressiveness, will challenge anyone. <b>[player_tooltip player_id="217325" first="Gwen" last="Jenkins"]- G, 5’10, 2024, Hilliard Davidson H.S.:  </b>With Jenkins' type of play and what she brings to the court every game, she's often a major part of the reason for opposing coaches to call time outs! She is a serious problem! You just assume her shots are going to go down, because she's that consistent. Very high IQ, looks so natural and smooth with her moves and quick decision making.
